No Rechnernetze tutorials on 29/30 May 2019

This is a brief reminder, that there will be no Rechnernetze tutorial on 29 May and 30 May 2019 due to a national holiday in Germany (Christi Himmelfahrt). We will continue regularly in the following week. All other tutorials will take place in a regular fashion.

On Thursday, 6 June 2019, the Rechnernetze tutorial in the afternoon cannot take place due to the Campus- and Sport festival. We request all students from that tutorial group to join one of the other Rechnernetze tutorials in the same week on Wed 09:15 AM or Thu 09:30 AM in room 1/219.

Room change for tutorial Computer Networks (Rechnernetze)

The room for the tutorial Computer Networks (Rechnernetze) for the groups Wed 09:15 and Thu 09:30 is changed to 1/219.

The Thu 15:30 tutorial will be conducted regularly in room 1/B006.

Please bring your own laptop with you to the first tutorial for live programming purposes.

The tutorials for Rechnernetze and Security of Distributed Software are going to start after Easter on 24 April 2019. The tutorial for CWA will be conducted in an alternative form and will be announced later in the semester.

The date of the opening meetings for the Seminar Web Engineering and Vorbereitungsseminar Planspiel Web Engineering will be announced separately.

Exam Reviews Winter semester 2018/2019

After finishing the exam assessment and reporting the grades to the examination office, we offer an exam review for the exams EVS, SSE, XML and Current Trends in Web Engineering from winter semester 2018/2019 on

Friday, 17 May 2019 starting at 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon in our VSR lab 1/B203.

The exam review will be conducted in a single session on one central day. You have to register for the exam review in advance via this link.

Registration is possible until 15 May 23:59.

All VSR Lectures will start this week, on April 2nd. And no, this is not an April fool hoax.

Tutorials finished & exam preparation

Pay attention, that there will not be any other tutorial for EVS, SSE and XML in the last week of January between 01/30/2019 and 02/01/2019, as we have already finished the intended topics.

A Q&A consultation will be offered additionally in a central and facultative fashion. Time and place of the consultation sessions will be announced separately via OPAL.

Planspiel pitches

Planspiel pitches

All Planspiel teams will have to present their current work state on

Monday, 21 January 2019 at 17:00 in room 1/204 and on
Wednesday, 23 January 2019 at 11:30 in room 1/305.

The presentation time per team is limited to 10 minutes sharp.
A beamer together with a VGA/HDMI cable is available.
The order of the pitches is not known in advance.

The final pitch will then take place on 5 March and 6 March 2019 in a full-day fashion from 9:00 - 17:00 in room 1/305. Your team will have 30 minutes for presenting your final business, followed by a 10 minutes Q&A session. All team members are expected to attend both days in full length.

We are looking forward to seeing excellent presentations.
