We are happy to announce that a foreign students has recently joined our group. He studies Computer and Communication Engineering at the American University of Beirut. He will stay the next two months in Chemnitz for an internship at our group. We welcome this new team member and look forward to his contributions.
New research associate at VSR

VSR is happy to announce that Stefan Wild has fully joined our group as
research associate. His research will contribute to Web Engineering, Service
Infrastructures and the OMELETTE project within the FP7 research program. We welcome
Stefan as a full team member and look forward to his contributions.

World Wide Web Conference 2012

The Conference aims to provide the world a premier forum for discussion and
debate about the evolution of the Web, the standardization of its associated technologies,
and the impact of those technologies on society and culture. It brings together
researchers, developers, users and commercial ventures - indeed all those who are
passionate about the Web and what it has to offer. www2012 will focus on "openness" in web
technologies, standards and practices, and will showcase the best of the region's
technology and culture. Prof. Gaedke will co-chair together with Prof. Dustdar the Web
Engineering track, which focuses on the development, composition, and evolution of
applications of the World Wide Web.
Paper accepted for IOS 2.0

The Paper "Geschäftsprozessintegration auf Basis von Telco-Mashups" by Frank
Weinhold, Olexiy Chudnovskyy, Hendrik Gebhardt and Martin Gaedke has been accepted for the
IOS 2.0 workshop taking place on October 04-07, 2011 in Berlin in conjunction with
Informatik 2011.

The paper "Business Process Integration using Telco Mashups" by Olexiy
Chudnovskyy, Hendrik Gebhardt, Frank Weinhold and Martin Gaedke has been accepted for the
8th International Conference on Mobile Web Information Systems (MobiWIS) taking place from
September 19th to 21st, 2011 in Ontario (Canada).
Meeting of European FP7 Project Omelette partners in Chemnitz

From June 7th-9th, TUC is hosting a project meeting of the European FP7 project
Omelette. Partners from Germany, Italy, Spain, and The Netherlands are working on tasks
for building novel Mashup environments for telecommunication companies. The meeting is
also part of several student and researcher exchange activities helping students and
researcher better understand research on a European level.
